Enrichment Seminars

Along with monetary assistance, finalists are provided with enrichment seminars designed to enhance professional development, leadership and social skills, and to encourage extensive community involvement.  Seminar sessions are led by area professionals and designed to provide educational opportunities beyond regular school curriculum.

Final Event

The awards and recognition ceremony is a formal dinner-dance is held after the seminars and interviews are completed.  Finalist attendance is required at this event in order to receive the scholarship.  In addition to the scholarships the top male and top female finalists are announce.  These two top recipients are each presented the Award of Distinction.
