In addition to scholarship awards, finalists participate in enrichment seminars designed to strengthen professional development, leadership, social skills, and community involvement.

After the seminars and interviews are completed, finalists are honored at the Cotillion Ball, a formal dinner-dance and awards recognition event. Attendance is required in order to receive the scholarship award.

During the event, scholarships are presented to all finalists, and the top male and female finalists are announced as the recipients of the Awards of Distinction.
